Our Mission Statement
We are individuals united by our commitment to the principles of government of, by and for the People, who will educate ourselves in order to become active and engaged citizens, who will advocate policy that reflects our values at all levels of government and who will support candidates who demonstrate a commitment to our values.
Our Values
We support government that is accountable to the People, that builds a sustainable future for the state and nation, and that promotes equal opportunity for all people. We will direct our efforts to this end by:
Taking the business of citizenship seriously;
Being bold and standing up for what we believe;
Taking responsibility for our actions;
Being inclusive as an organization;
Respecting other people's beliefs;
Staying positive and seeking solutions that work;
Being fact-based, open and trustworthy; and,
Telling the truth and sharing the truth.
Our Goals
- To build an organized and well-orchestrated grass roots network; to disseminate factual information electronically and in person to voters; to motivate participation in the political process in order to shape policy and leadership.
- To be informed on issues and base positions on facts by researching a variety of sources.
- To know the rules and procedures of the political process to increase our effectiveness.
- To identify, recruit, and support candidates who demonstrate a commitment to our mission and values.
