Saturday, September 15: Walking for Conway

On a bright sunny Saturday September 15, a dozen CFK-Fayette activists dropped literature for Jack Conway in the precinct of Jack's opponent, Stan Lee, as well as the five precincts directly adjacent to that precinct. Over 1100 door hangers were distributed in less than two hours.

At 4pm a number of us then went to the Crenshaw/Scorsone Fish Fry where we met with Jack and contributed five hundred dollars to his campaign. Jack accepted the contribution graciously; and he and his wife, Elizabeth, chatted with us for ten minutes about the campaign, the duties of the Attorney General, and--inevitably but briefly--Stan.
