| Meet Author DAVID SIROTA at Not-So Fancy Farm! We've just confirmed that national political writer David Sirota, author of the recently released book Hostile Takeover : How Big Money and Corruption Conquered Our Government--and How We Take It Back will be speaking at our 2006 Not-So Fancy Farm picnic on July 12th! Sirota most recently appeared on the Colbert Report to promote his new book, detailing how corporate interests and politicians have conspired to squeeze America's middle class as never before. He is a regular contributor to The Nation magazine, the Huffington Post and is also a twice-weekly guest on Al Franken's radio show. My favorite: click HERE to see David Sirota destroy right-wing blowhard John Stossel on MSNBC. David will speak at @ 7:00 p.m. and will be introduced by Kentucky Treasurer Jonathan Miller will introduce. Afterward, Mr. Sirota will stay to meet & greet and sign copies of his book (which will be available for sale at the picnic, courtesy of Joseph-Beth Booksellers.) Keep watching this space for more information, as we continue to confirm speakers for our 2006 Not-So Fancy Farm picnic. |
