Meeting on Downing Street Memos.
Ten of us met with Mike Noyes and a Chandler Aide—Chris Corcoran--at 2pm at the Chandler offices at 1021 Majestic Dr. Ste. 180.

Phil moderated and opened by thanking Mike and the office for the time and for signing the Conyers letter of June 16 asking for an investigation into the lead-up to the War in Iraq. Phil presented the main order of business asking Congressman Chandler to co-sponsor Rep. Barbara Lee’s HR 375 calling for an investigation into the Downing Street memo.

Mark Nickolas of the web site BluegrassReport.org and the organization, Foundation for Ky. Future will be the guest speaker at the Sept. CFK meeting in Danville, Ky. He will be talking about the current political landscape in KY. He will also discuss how the internet is changing politics, and the role of groups like DFA. There will be time for questions and answers so it should be a good chance to learn something new.
The meeting is Sept. 7 at 7:00 at the Community Arts Center basement, (entrance in the back)
