MeetUp is Wednesday & Major Announcement

The Fayette Co. Democracy for America/Change for Kentucky MeetUp is this Wednesday, Jan. 3 at 7:00 at the Central Public Library in downtown Lexington.

There are other KY MeetUps on Wednesday in Louisville, Paducah, Ashland, Somerset, Ft. Thomas, and Hopkinsville, along with other meetings in January in Frankfort and Madisonville.  Please click the links to visit their MeetUp site or to send an email to the County Coordinator near you.

The main part of this month's agenda is a mini-workshop using Professor George Lakoff's new DVD called "How Democrats and Progressives Can Win" to guide the discussion. We will also give CFK News, and give an update on Virginia Woodward's court case.

BE SURE TO COME TO THIS MEETING: We have a MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENT that you will not want to miss. This is our MOST EXCITING announcement yet, and if you are at your MeetUp on Wednesday, you will be the first to know (and you're going to want to know first; trust us...)

See you Wednesday at the MeetUp!

P.S. We may have an ugly situation brewing in Frankfort tomorrow (Jan. 4). The right-wing Republicans are threatening to not seat Virginia on this first day of the KY Legislative Session, even though she was certified the winner of the election, AND was sworn in by a Jefferson Co. Judge on Saturday. Many people are meeting at the Capitol at 12:00 noon on Tuesday, ready to make some noise if this transpires. If you can make it, please come to Frankfort tomorrow to join Virginia. Let's give David William and the Republicans a taste of their own medicine...
